Details

Phthalic Anhydride (PA) is produced via partial oxidation of orth-xylene. At room temperature, it forms white crystal-like flakes. When contacted with water, phthalic acid is produced. Phthalic Anhydride is widely used to make phthalate esters plasticizers for PVC processing.

Use

Plasticizers, Unsaturated polyester and Alkyd resin , Dyes、Pigments、Insecticides、Fire retardants、…etc
